Founded in Yosemite in the 1970s by climber Mike Graham, Gramicci pioneered original climbing gear, including, in 1982, the first climbing pants and shorts with gusseted crotches and built-in nylon belts for freedom of movement. Features like the gusset crotch, underarm hinge, and high-low hem, now standard across outdoor clothing, were developed by Gramicci.
Over 30 years on, the brand keeps innovating with original combinations of natural, organic fabrics, including organic cotton and hemp, driven by the same spirit that got it started: adventure, freedom, and time outdoors.
